For every item recycled, participants would receive an eco goodie bag from City Square Mall, limited to one eco goodie bag per person, for the first 100 participants.

Items to recycle:
IT Equipment
Battery chargers, cables, computer mice, desktops, docking stations, hard disk drives, keyboards, laptop, mobile phone batteries, mobile phones, modems, monitors, plugs, tablets and telephones.

Home Appliances
Blenders, electric fans, electric kettles, food processors and radios.

EPIC
Based on William Joyce's children's book, ‘The Leaf Men and the Brave Good Bugs’, Epic tells the story of a teenager who finds herself transported into a world of tiny beings within a deep forest setting. Caught in the battle between the forces of good and evil, she bands together with a group of characters in order to prevent the destruction of the forest and save the world.

FOOD FESTIVAL @ LITTLE INDIA

A 10-day food fiesta with competitions and prizes

The Indian Restaurants Association of Singapore (IRAS) is having a Food Festival @ Little India. In a build up to the exciting 10-day event, IRAS introduced two Facebook competitionsCreative Food Photos and Funniest Home Video: IRAS Kitchen Edition.

Creative Food Photos
In today’s modern context, taking pictures of food is a norm. In this competition, instead of pictures of food, participants strike up their most creative poses with any dish. Once done, participants can post their photo entries on IRAS’s Facebook page and tag it with the hashtag #IRASelfie.

Submitted entries with the most number of “Likes” will stand to win a POS (point-of-sale card) worth $50 to be used during Food Festival @ Little India.

Funniest Home Video: IRAS Kitchen Edition
Home videos are a great way to capture memorable moments of life. Funniest Home Video: IRAS Kitchen Edition does exactly that. Participants will submit their most hilarious video that takes place in the kitchen. It could be a sly prank on a family member or doing a massive Harlem Shake in the kitchen – The sky is the limit for creativity!

To enter, participants will post their video clip on IRAS’s Facebook page. To win, participants simply have to get the most number of likes for their entry. The winner will stand a chance to win a POS card worth $100.
