Longevity and good fortune, that's what Chinese associate turtles and tortoises with. The Live Turtle & Tortoise Museum has more than 1000 turtles and tortoises of more than 50 over different species. The petting corner allows you to get up close with some of these turtles and tortoises. With this, you will also get a chance to see the majestic Chinese and Japanese Gardens we blogged about earlier.

Chinese Garden, Japanese Garden, Singapore

As the title suggests, these parks are designed according to the Chinese and Japanese themes. Are they two different gardens or one? Answer is that Japanese Garden is linked to the Chinese Garden via a majestic Bridge of Double Beauty and are located together. 

From the grandeur of the Chinese Garden to the simplicity of the “Seiwaen” synonymous with Japanese Zen style, both parks showcase historical styles in their own ways.

What a wonderful concept inside the modern city of Singapore. A must to go!
