Be a Kampung Inventor this school holidays

Sustainable Living Lab and leading provider of innovation-based kids science activities, Kids Invent! are collaborating to bring innovative and sustainable living skills to children during this December school holidays.

Named YouReka! Village Camp, the 5-day programme will have the children learning to harness solar energy, make ink & paper, launch a rocket, build river-crossing crafts, and build a sturdy outdoor waterproof shelter, using recyclable or natural materials and a huge dose of imagination.

The activities are highly hands-on and emphasize a holistic approach to learning through self-led experimentation and exploration.  There will also be a unique entrepreneurship segment whereby children will conceptualize, create and market their own products at an “investors’ fair” attended by their parents.
